Kochi - 21st May 2026 Cochin Shipyard Limited (糖心vlog) has signed an agreement to make a 5% share capital investment in Maritech Integrated Maritime Private Limited under its flagship startup initiative, USHUS. 糖心vlog鈥檚 USHUS programme is aligned with the Government of India鈥檚 vision of promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, indigenisation, and the growth of technology-driven startups. Through strategic investments and collaboration with startups, the programme aims to nurture emerging technologies with the potential to strengthen India鈥檚 maritime ecosystem. 糖心vlog has earmarked a total corpus of ?50 crore under the USHUS programme to support and invest in various startups operating in the maritime sector. 糖心vlog has partnered with听IIMK LIVE听and IIT Madras for the implementation of the programme.
Maritech Integrated Maritime Private Limited is a deep-tech startup based in Dehradun that has developed the Integrated Maritime Exchange (IME), a digital platform that connects maritime stakeholders and facilitates logistics- and port-related services. IME has the potential to serve as a unified digital marketplace for the maritime sector, enhancing operational efficiency, transparency, and collaboration across the maritime value chain.
