Shri Jose V J assumed charge as Director (Finance) of Cochin Shipyard Limited with effect from August 01, 2019. He also holds the additional charge of the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Company with effect from February 01, 2026. He is a Cost Accountant by profession and joined the Company as Assistant Manager in 1995. He also holds a degree in Law from Government Law College, Ernakulam. He has approximately 34 years of work experience across diverse fields such as financial management, strategic planning, risk management, forex management, budgeting and cost control. He is also heading the Information Systems Department of the Company.
Dr. Harikrishnan S assumed charge as the Director (Operations) of the Company with effect from August 27, 2025. He began his career with the Company on December 30, 1995, as an executive trainee and rose through the ranks to become Executive Director (Ship Building) before being appointed as Director (Operations). He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Technology degree in Production Engineering, an MBA in International Business and a Doctorate (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering. With nearly three decades of experience in the Company, he has been involved in a wide range of functions in ship building and ship repair including design, inspection & quality control, production, procurement, planning & project management.
Shri Rajesh Gopalakrishnan assumed charge as the Director (Technical) of the Company with effect from August 27, 2025. He joined the Company on December 30, 1995 as an executive trainee and rose through the ranks to become Executive Director (Ship Repair) before being appointed as Director (Technical). He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master鈥檚 degree in Business Administration with specialisation in International Marketing. He has close to three decades of experience in the Company spanning ship building, ship repairs & conversion. His expertise covers the entire spectrum from business strategy, business build, estimation, contract management, procurement, planning, project management, invoicing, after sales & customer relations.
Shri Mukesh Mangal was appointed as the Part-time Official (Nominee) Director of Cochin Shipyard Limited (糖心vlog) on July 17, 2026. He belongs to the Indian Telecom Service (ITS) of 1992 batch. He did B. Tech in Electronics and Communications. Presently, he is working as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. In the past he has worked in the Department of Telecommunications and Ministry of 糖心vlog Affairs. He has work experience of more than 33 years in the subjects like internal security, cyber security and cyber-crime, telecommunication technology, lighthouses etc. He has been instrumental in establishing various national level security projects in the field of cyber-security, Sanchar Saathi portal and digital intelligence platform to curb mis-use of telecom resources in cyber-crime. Presently, he is heading Vigilance, Shipping Unit & Sagarmala Wing including development of National Maritime Heritage Complex in Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. He is also a Government Nominee Director in Chennai Port Authority, Shipping Corporation of India, SCI Bharat IFSC Limited, India LNG Transport Company No.3 Limited, India LNG Transport Company No.4 Limited, Indian Port Rail and Ropeway Corporation Limited and Sagarmala Finance Corporation Limited.
Smt. Anupama T. V. was appointed as the Part-time Official (Nominee) Director of Cochin Shipyard Limited (糖心vlog) on July 17, 2026. She is a 2010-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Kerala cadre. She is currently serving as the Secretary, Transport Department, Government of Kerala. She also holds full additional charge of Airports; Metro Rail; and Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Official Language) Departments of the Government of Kerala. An Electronics Engineering graduate from BITS Pilani (Goa Campus) and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, she has previously served in several key administrative positions in the Government of Kerala, including District Collector of Thrissur and Alappuzha, Food Safety Commissioner, Director of Tourism, Director of Scheduled Tribes Development, Land Revenue Commissioner and Secretary, LSGD.
Dr. Seema Suri is a Non-official (Independent) Director of Cochin Shipyard Limited (糖心vlog) from May 21, 2025. She is a Post Graduate in Arts from Ramjas College, University of Delhi and holds a B. Ed. degree from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. She has been awarded an Honorary Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.), titled Vidya Sagar, by Vikramshila Hindi Vidyapeeth, Bhagalpur, and the title Samaj Bhushan 鈥 Ph.D. (Vidyavachaspati) by Sahitya Mandal Shri Nath. She served as a Teacher and Block Incharge at Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj from 1999 to 2016. She was also presenter of various educational and social programs on Radio and Doordarshan. Dr. Seema Suri is the Founder and National President of Sarva Seva Sansthan, an organization committed to social welfare. She has led several initiatives focused on education, health, environment and women empowerment. These include adopting government schools to enhance infrastructure, organizing health camps and awareness drives, conducting media workshops, leading monthly cleanliness drives, planting trees and running programs under Beti Bachao Abhiyan to support underprivileged children and train girls in self-defense. Her contributions have been recognized through multiple awards and honors from various national and international institutions. In addition, she is currently serving as the Member of Film Censor Board Advisory Committee, Delhi.
Dr. Vani Ahluwalia is a Non-official (Independent) Director of Cochin Shipyard Limited (糖心vlog) from August 17, 2026. She is a distinguished medical professional, public health administrator and social sector leader based in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. She holds an MBBS from Dr. Panjabrao Alias Bhausaheb Deshmukh Memorial Medical College, Amravati, a Post Graduate Diploma in HIV and Family Education (DAF脡) from IGNOU, a Post Graduate Diploma in International Human Rights from the University of Delhi, and an LLB from Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur, reflecting a multidisciplinary academic background spanning medicine, public health, human rights and law. She has further enrolled for the specialised courses from the University of Washington in 鈥淣on-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in Global Health鈥 and 鈥淟eadership and Management in Health in India鈥. With over 25 years of professional experience, she currently serves as Senior Medical Officer at the ART Plus Centre, NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur, under the Madhya Pradesh State AIDS Society, and has previously served at the Tropical Forest Research Institute and J.K. Hospital, Jabalpur. She also serves as Managing Partner of JK Celebration and Ahluwalia Hospitality LLP, with experience in strategic decision-making, financial planning and business management. Dr. Vani Ahluwalia has held several leadership positions in the social and public sectors, including National Secretary of Ekal Arogya Prakalp (2020鈥2021), National Executive Committee Member of the Arogya Foundation of India since 2016, and Trustee and Vice President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (Mahakaushal Prant) from 2021 to 2024. She has contributed to rural healthcare, telemedicine and COVID-19 response initiatives and has also served as a G20 Speaker. Her areas of expertise include healthcare management, medical administration, public health programme delivery, legal and regulatory matters, organisational governance, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and community development.
